Agencies

Agencies are listed in alphabetic order.

The following  information is provided to aid you in the process of contacting an agency.

If an agent or agency is interested in you they will contact you provided you remembered to include your contact information, such as: your email address, phone number and mailing address. It is important that your contact information be on each and every picture you send in to an agency in the event that your pictures become separated. Most all the agencies request that you do not call or email to inquire about the status of your submissions. If there is interest, they will contact you. If there is no interest, you probably will not hear back from the agency. If you have included a self-addressed, postage-paid envelope, most agencies will  return your photographs.

The majority of the agencies will prefer you send at least one sharp head shot and one sharp body shot. Your head shot should clearly show your entire face, and your body shot should give the agency a accurate picture of your build and body type. Some agencies and agents suggest that women wear clothing that gives an accurate representation of the model's physical build. Do not  send nude photographs.

Note: The pictures you send do not need to be taken by a professional photographer. If you already have professional pictures, then by all means send them. Most agents and agencies prefer to receive simple shots which give them an accurate idea of what you look like. You may want to have a family member or a friend shoot a a couple of rolls of film using the one roll  to get a good head shot and the other roll to get a good full length shot.

The majority of professional agencies do not charge a fee to review your pictures. You should know that any organization which does charge a fee to consider you for representation is not a professional model management agency and may be a modeling school, convention or scouting organization. See Avoiding Pitfalls

Professional modeling agencies do not charge an up front fee to represent you. They basically earn their commissions from their model's earnings. It is their job to aid in development, manage, represent and attempt to secure work for models. You should carefully investigate any organization which attempts to directly charge you a fee to represent you.

If any of the agencies you contact are not interested in representing you, try not to be get discouraged. Just about every agency is looking for something different. Some only consider females in their early 20's that are 5' 9" and taller while others may be looking for a more robust individual where height has less importance.

You may e-mail us if you have a question. Please be patient.  We will get back with you. We get a good number of e-mails with great questions but the sender forgets to provide a return e-mail address.
