To Improve Your Photo Viewing

          Are you aware that certain browsers have a compression setting that may effect picture quality? Increased fuzziness or blurring of images and other problems may be linked to this compression setting. If you have noted these effects while viewing  your model pictures as displayed on your web page you may be able to improve picture quality by changing the compression mode. Using the AOL browser as an example you may alter the setting as follows:

          1.  If you are using AOL 5.0 click on "My AOL". If using AOL 6.0 click on  "Settings".

          2.  Next click on "Preferences".

          3.  Click on "Internet Properties (WWW)" or "Internet Preferences Icons".

          4.  Under the "General Tab" you have several options.

               a. Under "Temporary Internet Files" click on "Delete Files".

               b. Under "History" click on  "Clear History".

          6.  Next go to the "Web Graphics" tab.

               a.  Uncheck "Compress Graphics Files". 

               b.  If you are using AOL 6.0 you will choose the "Never Compress" selection.  

               c.  Click on "OK".
